Each Mad Dog Energy Shot has: 100% Niacin, 2000% B6, 100% Folic Acid, 8333% B12, <1% Sodium, 2125mg energy blend of Taurine, Malic Acid, Caffeine, Clucoronolactone, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, L-Phenylanine, 1mg enzyme blend of Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Cellulase, Lactase. Caffeine is only 100mg, or about 4.7% of total energy blend.
Low volume only 2 oz, compared to the sugary energy drinks that are 12 oz or more, which are carbonated, something wt loss patients should not have.
For wt. loss surgery patients: I highly recommend the following--place half of bottle of Mad Dog Energy Shot in your mouth, and hold under tongue for 20-30 seconds, swirl around your mouth for few seconds, swallow, and repeat for 2nd half of bottle. This helps you absorb the B12 sublingually to maximize the benefit of the B12 in the formula. The high amount of B12 and B6 will help supplement your daily vitamin intake.

There are also times where you cannot drink coffee to make yourself more alert. Working by a computer, driving your car, in a lecture or learning seminar, etc. Just unwrap one of the foil packets and begin chewing, and within 10 minutes you'll be more alert.
This product is quite similar to a soft caramel candy. Softer in texture, and is individually wrapped in a foil wrapper. It is designed to chew, and you absorb the ingredients fast, similar to a sublingual B12 tablet. It is not a gum, and will diminish in size over a few minutes, when you can easily swallow it.
I actually tried one chocolate chew yesterday. Within a couple of minutes, I noted an heightened alertness that lasted over 2 hours. Time may vary for you.
